Jeanie Marie Buss, an American businesswoman from America. She is the controlling owner of the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association and currently is the president of the organization. Buss is a California native, Buss grew up in an upper class family. Jerry Buss is her father. He was a real estate tycoon before becoming the manager of Lakers as well as other companies. The emotional strain she felt was exacerbated as her parents divorced in 1972. She joined her family's business when she was 19 to become the general manager for the Los Angeles Strings tennis team. The team was later renamed the Los Angeles Blades, a professional roller-hockey team. Before she became vice president of the Lakers She was also the president of the Great Western Forum. Buss as well as her five sisters were heirs to the Lakers controlling ownership after the passing of Busshis father in the year 2013. Every sister was given equal rights. She assumed the office of the president for the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss is the owner of Women of Wrestling in Los Angeles the organization which promotes pro wrestling.
