Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston, born 9 August 1963, to an affluent family from Newark New Jersey is the daughter of Gospel star Cissy Houston as well as John Russell Houston Jr. She's also cousins with singing star Dionne Warwick. As a child she performed in the New Hope Baptist Church Choir in Newark. At the age of she reached the age of 15years old, Houston was singing professionally as a backing vocalist with her mother on Chaka Khan's 1978 song Im Every Woman. But it was it was the 1992 film The Bodyguard that solidified her status as a top-selling artist. The film and her part as a character was not appreciated, however, the soundtrack and her rendition of the song by Dolly Parton I Will Always Love You were charted for months at the top of the charts. In all, she sold more than 44 million albums and singles across the globe. In the same year she welcomed her daughter Bobbi, Brown married Bobby Brown of the ex-New Edition group.
