John Denver is a popular singer and songwriter who has been able to touch many by his lyrics. A lot of them are based on Colorado. Born Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. in Roswell New Mexico he fell in love with Colorado and later settled in Aspen. Denver's anthems of fame about Colorado have been a major influence on many to move to the state. There isn't anyone else who represents Colorado like John Denver said G. Brown director of the Colorado Music Hall of Fame. Denver, the Hall of Fames' initial inductee, was honoured with the award in the year 2011. Denver is a symbol of the state for all people. Through my travels, I've met people from New Zealand or the other side. When you tell people you're from Colorado The first thing they say are"Oh John Denver. Brown declared. Take Me Home Country Roads was Denver's top 10 hit after performing with smaller folk groups. The song was written and performed by Bill Danoff. Danoff had Johnny Cash as the inspiration for the song, but Denver realized that it could become a smash hit when it was discovered that an earlier version. After singing to an enthusiastic crowd in Washington D.C., the singer recorded this song.
